When veteran builder Ledingham McAllister was seeking new
real estate development opportunities outside of the Lower
Mainland it set its sights on the Okanagan, and its centrepiece,
Kelowna.
“The Okanagan is an obvious choice for us,”
says Manuela Mirecki, vice-president of markeing at Ledingham
McAllister. “Those of us who grew up in B.C. know
it for its year-round appeal, be it summer spent at a lakeside
cottage, a wine tour in the fall, or a ski trip to one of
the many local mountains in the winter. But the region is
now gaining national and even international attention and
we felt it was time to stake our claim in one of the province’s
– if not the country’s – hot spots.”

The result is Waterscapes Kelowna, a meticulously designed
master-planned residential community in the heart of downtown
Kelowna that is being billeed as one of the largest in the
city’s history. When complete, the Waterscapes community
in Kelown will bost 778 homes housed in nine buildings,
including the signature tower, Skye, a 26-storey structure
that will be the tallest building between Vancouver and
Calgary and will offer residents sweeping views of Lake
Okanagan and the valley beyond.
Waterscapes’ incomparable location adjacent to the
Brandt’s Creek Crossing, a historic site located justnorth
of downtown Kelowna presales, will give residents the best
of both worlds – resort-style living an urban convenience.

the revitalized downtown area.

of The Herons. This phase also includes The Cascade Club,
